Yoga For Your Body - A 6 Week Intro

Saturdays, 8-9 am. The intro series is a great way to start your yoga practice. For all body types, this is intended to be low impact and help to appreciate the body’s movement, flexibility and strength. The Lunch Bunch - A virtual meal support group for teens in recovery

Sunday - 12-1 EST - This is a resource for teens who are looking for accountability during meals. Join others to dine in the comfort of your home and receive support for your recovery via zoom. Check in, Challenge, and Change. Led by Julia, who completed her Nutrition Degree at UNF and is moving towards her Masters and Internship in the fall to become a Dietitian.. At this time of Thanksgiving, I wanted to reach out and give thanks to you. When I met you I felt like a hamster going around and around on the same old wheel. You taught me that stuffing your feelings with food isn’t the answer. Now that I’ve made peace with food my heart is open to other things, and I am learning that love can set you free. Thank you for showing me the way to true happiness. You will always be special to me.

Hello Marilyn and Riley, Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback and thanks so much for running the Lunch Bunch group. Our daughter benefited from it a lot. It was good to get her together with other teens facing similar issues. I know at times she felt like she was on an island, and because of the strange year with quarantining and everything it was particularly tough. So, the sense of belonging and not feeling “strange” and “different” was a big motivator/benefit. SN-Dad

I like that the Lunch Bunch group is small, it makes me feel more comfortable. It’s helping significantly. It helps me to feel more comfortable eating in front of people. Riley is incredibly nice and supportive. ~LB

The Zoom format is great because my daughter feels more comfortable just going into her room for the meetings. She loves Riley. The interaction is helping her with her anxiety as well.
