Organic Goods....

I recently signed up with Palmetto Organics, a produce supplier who delivers to your doorstep. How easy is that? Pre-Fourth of July included some organic yukon gold potatoes...

...all diced up and ready to steam...I borrowed a recipe from Emily which included chopped red onion....

Some fresh sage from sprout's garden...

and a secret ingredient...goat cheese instead of mayo. I like me some mayo but this had a nice smooth creamy texture...along w/ a little olive oil, and touch of dijon and vinegar. A little lower in fat than regular mayo me thinks...

It was even better the next day... Next up was Red Cabbage Coleslaw with a twist...recipe suggestion from Palmetto...

...fresh red cabbage, beautiful carrot, a handful of parsley from the garden, jalapeno pepper, and a dressing of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a little honey and S&P.

Served with grilled corn on the cob, and a rib for the husb. I've asked for more "greens" with my delivery....can't wait to see what's delivered today. Do you do organic? Why? Why Not?
