September 25...Friday Fun Day

I love Fridays! I think it goes back to college, end of the week, FAC, and football weekends!

Go Huskers! Some Fridays I have the luxury of a light schedule leaving time for errands and grocery shopping. And what do I see on the way to the store.....

A 4th generation family bakery. Cinotti's has been turning out some of the yummiest baked goods since they opened in 1964. From wedding cakes to cookies and chocolates, they do it all. And only in the fall (and 2 weeks in July) they make one of my favs....

Holy Yum.....had to stop!

36 g. Carb - should last me an hour of run... and 3 g. protein....not a perfect blend.... and I figure there's some vitamin A in their from the pumpkin...something for pre-run :) We'll see how it works.....two for the road.... A 9 miler tomorrow downtown and a bridge or 2. The Galloway Program this year has gotten so big, and it's time to split the groups after the magic mile last week. So Jill and I are new leaders and we're taking on the group with a magic mile 8:01-8:15 minutes. After Friday night dinner of burger and fries, it's a pumpkin donut for dessert....
